Chemical Peels

What is A Chemical Peel Treatment?

The chemical peel is one of the oldest cosmetic procedures in the world. Today, chemical peels are amongst the most popular and widely recognised methods of improving the health and appearance of skin by removing dead skin cells and encouraging new ones to grow.

Chemical peel depth can range from very superficial to deep, although several light depth peels can often achieve similar results to one deeper peel treatment, with less risk and shorter recovery time.

CLINICARE superficial peels contain a mixture of Glycolic, Lactic and Salicylic Acids to remove the upper layer of the epidermis, encouraging regeneration of new skin cells.

The result is the improved clinical appearance of the skin with fewer lines, a brighter complexion, improved skin tone and a more youthful appearance.

The CLINICARE peels come in 3 targeted ranges for specific skin indications and are extremely well tolerated with minimum side effects.

No, there may be a mild degree of tingling or a slight itching sensation while the glycolic acid is in contact with the skin.
